Just curious what others pay. I use synthetic for my 5.0 litre. I know many do their own I am curious towards garage prices both American and Canadian.

 

Around $75 for full synthetic Motorcraft oil and filter at two local dealers and Quick Lanes. 7+ quarts.

 

free labor since I do my own. Royal Purple, 5qt jug plus 1qt and FL-500s filter = about $50 total and about 30 free minutes.

 

$40 worth of M1 oil and a $4 MC filter

 

I pay about $50 canadian for an oil change at the dealer. They wash and detail as well, so it's a good deal

 

I think its $56 with tax at dealer for "the works". Saw coupon online the other day for $10-20 off. As long as they don't ding my wheels again i'll keep going back. It's cheaper and i work 2mi from the dealer so quite convenient

 

$64 for 3 jugs of Motorcraft synth blend and 2 FL500S filters, DIY'ing it = $32 per oil change

 

$40 at the dealer.

 

$30-40 for "the works" at my dealer.

 

Are these $40 oil changes at the dealer full synthetic? I can't even buy the oil alone that cheap...
