Possible for remote start on one key fob?
My 2015 has the 3-button (unlock, lock, panic) key fob. I'd like to get remote start installed, but I'm wondering if there is ANY way to accomplish this without needing two key fobs.
Has anyone done this? What did it cost?

Does anyone have a link to the kit I'll need? I stopped at the dealer, but that didn't do any good. The service department didn't know what the parts department was talking about, and the parts department didn't know what the service department was talking about.

well I may have misspoken, after searching around on the web, the plug and play kit
with the keys you want fit the '11-'14 models. the kit for the '15-'16 is a total different
thing that has more functions but uses a separate fob. that is stupid, the key is big
enough as it is without having to carry a fob also. I left just as the '15's were coming
out so I guess that is why I didn't know, sorry

This has got to be one of the dumbest moves Ford could have made.
After having the local Ford dealer technician tell me they could order the factory kit and install it, they are now telling me it's not possible for them to install the remote start system that will allow me to carry just one key fob. According to the dealer, 2014 was the last year Ford would allow dealers to install the kit that allowed the use of a single, 4-button (unlock, lock, panic, remote start) key fob. WTF was the point of that move? Can this be right? Why would they insist on owners carrying two separate key fobs?
Considering all of the oher issues I've been experiencing with the truck that has only 7,000 (yes, seven-thousand), I think I've - for the first time in my life - officially regretted buying a vehicle. After being a loyal Ford truck owner for my entire adult life, it kinda sucks.

Purchase this from eBay. I installed in my 2016 and it only took 5 minutes. I ordered the remote starter unit on a Saturday morning and it arrived on Monday.
