have a 2007 supercrew with 5.4 V8 flex fuel engine and was wondering why I hear a slight ticking noise during acceleration while my engine is cold. Could it be lifter noise and if so should I run a different type oil for the winter. I use the recommended oil 5W20 ford motor synthetic blend. or is a little lifter noise normal for this engine.
