Ok, So lets get into what I was thinking I was at the ford dealer which I have been going back and forth for about 1.5 years now and I really like the Rapter and I can finance it but I wanted something a little more personal to me. So now getting into what I will be using it for first off I run a jeep/truck club we are a off road club but I am trying to branch off and start truck shows and maybe doing some cool events we did back when I lived in kentucky truck pulls tug a war and different things, obviously I am buying a truck to have a truck not a car so in no way am I gonna slam the truck, I do plan on hauling typical stuff lumber, gravel and things of that nature as well as my dirt bikes, quads and snowmobiles as well as a pop up trailer a boat jet ski "ECT". Now the truck I am looking at is the 1997-2001 f-150 flare side I'd like a crew cab but crew, extended or regular cab is fine I want a short bed it will be 4x4(Obviously) and it must have 5.4 triton and be an automatic(so the wife can drive it if necesarry) ok so now lets look at my build plan.

Sounds like you would have a pretty sick rig! Well I plan on converting my truck to a wannabe Raptor. Repainting the truck Ingot silver mettalic next month, Raptor graphics on the bed, Raptor grille insert, Nfab light bar, and eventually prerunner fenders. If you like the Raptor's you could do something like that.

Wow your engine build is completely off for a modular engine especially 5.4. Do some more research and you will find the parts you are wanting to use will not help it make hardly anymore power than stock.

I've had a modular engine before my 04 marauder and my 03cobra I did the sane build on the 4.6 that they had at pushed 826whp in the cobra and 755whp in the marauder
