With a new engine, 3,000 miles, and a 120 mile trip at 70 mph on freeway, all my dash device only maxed out at 19.3. I have the 2,7 eco. I thought it should be better than that, maybe not.....

Maybe since I drive 55 on highways just might be the reason I have been driving for 56 years without a ticket and never in an accident that was any part my fault.

My 3.5L TT tanks with Winter as well, worst tank was 14.8L/100 though, not 17.
The 4A, remote starts, and more pedal in the snow all contribute to the higher mileage.
Summer I get around 12.5L/100 pretty easily.

I have a 17 FX4 with the 3.5EB. My lifetime average is 18.3 mpg. In winter, the mileage drops a couple of points...then it goes back up in summer.
It's a mix of remote starting, winter fuel, and cold temps. When it warms up a bit, even still running winter fuel, my mileage increases....but the big jump is warm temps and summer fuel (and fewer remote starts).

There is highway, those are the county and state roads with posted 55 MPH, and there is Interstate with 70+ posted. EPA uses the Former, not the Latter when it figures standards, so if you are doing Interstate speeds, don't complain. If you are doing highway speeds and getting crap, well, bitch it up mang.
Roads I take are safe up to 64 MPH. Do 65 and they will pull you over and write you up, no warnings. I do 62 MPH using cruise, and get better than 20 on most days, but not less than 19 on the bad days.
It's all in how it is driven.
