hey guys tell bout your police scanners whats the best cheapest

 

i have a this one...i gave 160$...for it a few years back i know there cheaper now...its been a damn good one...i have it in my truck ...needs a diff type of antenna though..

 

cool what has it done for you is it worth it

 

oh hell yes....its a little hard to program the first time...but after you read the directions like 50 times its easy ....haha.. i hate reading directions it took me like 2 days to finally read them and figure out its easy ...but ya i never shut it off...its always on had it for 3 years i think...

A cop can tag you with his radar before that even goes off.. there was a thread a while back talking about it where a few LEO's chimed in..

 

hes talking about a scanner ...not a radar dectector...and my dad just retired 30 years as a police cheif..and yes they can radar you first before most radar dectors go off...but they have a pretty good shot you are there...were a radar detector has a wider band of detecting...a police has to have his radar on you...were a radar de4ctor can be pointed just in that direction
