Default please help with 6 disc player

My cd's are stuck and will not eject, it had been a while since it started making a weird noice when ejecting and now they will not eject. Has anyone experienced this? is this something I need to take to a shop or is it an easy fix (i hope). its urgent, i'm bored of the 6 cd's that are in there.

thanks for your help.

The OE cd players are junk. I also think yours is junk now too. An aftermarket radio would be your best bet.

You could buy a used unit on E-bay or even on this site. I bought one for $65 here but then decided to go aftermarket. I do not think you could get it fixed for what a used unit would cost.

I have the stock 6 disc cd player in my 03' Lariat. Biggest POS ever. Scratched all my cds, and just yesterday 1 finally got stuck. Now it won't play.. time for an aftermarket cd player.. then put all my music on an ipod.

Yeah, I always pull the OE as soon as possible. I can run ipod or USB flash drive in mine now. so nice to have 600+ songs on tap for whatever mood strikes ya.

As far as your problem. sorry no clue how to get them out, and if you do...do you really want to stick any more in there???

I installed the x-plode and it sounds much much better than the stock did. I might just keep that one.... I liked the oe 6 disk but sounds like they aren't very good.

Dont even bother with the changers. They are all garbage. Get a good head unit and be done with it.
