Default Please check my math

Could the experts verify if I'm correct?
I'm going to make an offer on a new 17' F150, 2.7 Eco/3.55 gears; XLT chrome package: 302A. 4WD, center console, bedliner, nav, twin panel moonroof, bunch of other stuff.

Invoice is about 8.8% off MSRP?
Holdback = 3% off MSRP?
My offer for their bottom line would be Invoice-holdback-current rebates?

Invoice+holdback+rebates? Best of luck. Around here, nobody is touching holdbacks (Pa/Nj area)

I'm pretty sure they're not doing that (giving up their holdback) around here (Tx) either, unless you qualify for and get a PIN for A/Z plan.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for invoice -rebates, though, depending on the exact model of truck and its availability/demand in your area.

The invoice on a Raptor is 7% down from sticker.

By the way - trying to build your truck on Edmunds shows that the 3.55 rear cannot be paired with the 302A package. https://www.edmunds.com/ford/f-150/2...tep1%23facets1

By the time I optioned up a truck to something around where you were going, I ended up with : https://www.edmunds.com/ford/f-150/2...ip=78701#step2 and this says that the invoice is about 6.9% under sticker. I'm not saying that Edmunds has it right on the options, but is your dealer shooting straight about the truck they're selling you?

Here's a link to the window sticker. It shows the 3.55. http://www.windowsticker.forddirect....073DW7o2t5U%3D
The build date does fall within the range of the bad batch of motor on top of being a Friday truck.

You could offer Invoice-holdback-current rebates and be done with it. In other words, no math involved. "I will pay you invoice, less holdback and rebates".

That guy no longer works as a salesman. He claims he quit to blog all the time:

Around here Raptors are going for 10k over list.

That guy may have gotten into trouble for showing off the A/Z plan pricing for those vehicles...

When I went in to pick up my plates, my dealer had sold the two Raptors in the showroom, and had one left on the lot. They didn't say if it was still going for over sticker or not, but I offered to trade my STX for it, even Stephen.. and I'm not sure why they didn't take that offer? :-D

It's all about the timing. It certainly can be done. I bought mine the second to last day of the month for less than Hold backs. I asked the finance director why they would take that deal and there were a lot of good reasons (which I won't go into now). Made sense to me and believe they did take a small loss on the unit. They had sales targets which get them incentives from Ford so it made sense for them too

Just took my `13 Mustang GT in for the Takata airbag inflator replacement today. While waiting I wandered over to the new trucks. They (McCafferty Ford, Langhorne Pa) had two new Raptors sitting side by side. MSRP was $66,000+ on both. Also on both was a little sticker that read "Market Adjustment + $10,000. I spoke to a salesperson standing there & asked him about this. He said Yup! that`s the price. There`s no negotiation on these. Take it or leave it.
