Road rage has decreased too.

Exactly. I wish our idiotic courts would throw out every lawsuit that someone files because they got hurt while committing a crime. There should be a law prohibiting that.

Even if you're kidding I think someone on this forum is working on building a center storage compartment for rifles. I can't remember what thread it is.

I don't think I need to explain why open carry is beyond retarded do I?
In a lot of states you are required to tell LE that you are armed if you are stopped for any reason. In gun friendly states the officers for the most part aren't bothered by that. In others (California comes to mind) if you have a CCW permit and inform a police officer upon being stopped you may find yourself spreadout on the pavement with a .40 cal being pointed at you

Actually, I would LOVE to hear why open carry is retarded. I get a good laugh out of you guys.
I'll listen to your argument then I'll come back with a rebuttal.

Bad- It does spook some people especially now with the recent shootings. It could lead to wasteful 911 calls.
If someone really wants to start trouble and they see you before you see them you become the first victim since you are their only visible threat.
Good- I have heard stories that someone was going to start trouble but saw a person open carrying and decided not too.
I'm sure there are a dozen arguments for and against open carry.

I have had a few instances where a situation would have escalated had it not become known to the other individual that I was openly carrying. It is really amazing how the guy's attitude changed after spotting my firearm. I didn't even have to say a word. They just apologized and went on their way.
