Exclamation performance advise

im a 16 year old looking to up the horsepower and over all perfomance of my f-150. it is a 4.7 v8 reg. cab '04. i already have a k&n filter and am wondering what would be the best way to quickly boost its performance.

A aftermarket tune/chip of some sort will do the trick.

do you have a suggestion of what kind? i dont think that superchips has a chip for my year model, but i am not sure of anyone else.

Edge is a real good one and you also get the extra gauges which is a nice bonus.

Troyer Performance has great custom tunning if want that.

I would stick with the edge since you might be adding mods as time goes buy but if you were modding all at once i would get the custom tune so it can be calibrated for the mods you've done.

A programmer would be a nice improvement over stock tunning. It will put a smile on your face. Edge or Troyer custom tunes is the way to go. I have an Edge but plan to go with custom tunes as soon as the Live Wire is released http://www.sctlivewire.com/LBand/lowmain.php Custom tunes with the gauges

now that you can move mor air in, you need to be able to get the exhaust out.

I would go with a exhaust system before the tuner.

im sorry about the 4.7, it was a typo. i was wondering about exhaust. i want something that sounds good but not real loud. i was looking at a flowmaster. one of my friends has one and it sounds good idleing and when you get on it, it really picks up and is loud. any thoughts?
