Default Passenger seat doesn't return up right

Just bought a 2014 XLT F150. Has power driver seat and manual passenger seat. With the passenger seat reclined, there seems to be no way to have it return to the normal upright position without pulling the seat back up (hard to do for my wife without getting out of the truck). My 2003 F150 had a spring and to get the seat back upright. The passenger just had to sit forward and move the recline lever and the seat would return up right.

Do all 2014s have this issue, or did Ford forget to install the spring?

My 2014 XLT with manual passenger seat works fine, just tryed it. Not a super powerful spring but I'm 185lbs and if I lean forward and pull lever it smoothly goes up.

Check and see if you need the recall on passenger seat rail done and do them at the same time.

On my 14 XLT, the wife has to ask me to pull up the seat when it's reclined. But I think because the seats are so deep and fit snug....if you don't lean way forward it won't start to budge. Now if the seats empty and you recline then retract... it doesn't spring back super quick, but does in a slow controlled fashion. I think it seems normal.
