Exclamation Parts Swapping

I've got a 1997 150 5.4 and my upper radiator inlet finally gave it up and busted off, a friend of mine was just in an accident and they totaled his truck a 97 150 single cab with the v6, i want to know if i can put his radiator in my truck and it work ok? What do ya'll think

Most likely the new doesn't have enough capacity to keep your cooled.

Worth swapping if just to get you by a few days until you either buy a new one or grab one from the junk yard.

thanks for the info, went to the junkyard today and found out there two types i didn't know a single row and a two row, i got a single row from a 4.6 triton and put it in the dimensions are the same just not as wide but fits the mounts and works fine no problems and no overheating i will continue to watch but i think it is a good fit

junkyard didn't have any 5.4 they only had 4.6 f150 wtf
