i own a 2003 ford f 150 xlt fx4 supercrew, 5.4L, i was curious do all 1997 to 2003 parts interchange with each other. example could i take a starter, alternator whatever from a 1997 to a 2003 to fit my 2003? thank you

 

From what I looked at, starters from 99 to 03 are the same. 97 & 98 are a different part #.
Just have to do a little research to see which parts are compatible.
