Default Panel painting

You just don't see it any more... it was real big in the 70s and early 80s

hard to find anymore in fact I could not find a pic online at all...I had a but here in GA that was the man as far as panel painting in the late 70s and 80s..

I modified this pic a little it's close but the spacing is a little off..

it would be cool to see a new truck with a retro panel paint job..

I like that style Bronco. My Dad's best friend had that color panels, short wheel base, that was when I lived in the desert in Nevada. Good times there, go four wheeling and drink beer and not be bothered. The good ole Days.

I need to ask him if still has that truck.

nowadays you can just get vinyl wrap - no skill needed!

i don't think the modern looks of our vehicles would blend with the retro styling - it'd be like painting a bmw motorcycle to be an easy rider style chopper.... nope

you would be surprised at what you can do with a modern truck and little retro paint work..

problem is back then a panel paint job was prolly under a grand, now who knows maybe $2k+?
