Good day all,
I have 3 or 4 spots of peeling paint on the hood and cab of the 2005 xlt . I'd call the truck metallic silver but looking at the touch up paint on line I see two types: Dupli-Color Perfect Match Paint Code: J Silver Metallic and Dupli-Color Perfect Match Paint Code: 1E Silver Metallic Touch-Up Paint.
Can one of you tell me how to tell which color I need? I looked on the door tag but I don't see any codes like J or 1E.

Look at your sticker again.

(A) in this diagram is where your code is. "Ext pnt: Z1"
In this pic it's Z1 which is Oxford white
