Default P0430 Code

2018 f150 5.0L 260,000km

I just completed a series of fixing on my truck as I had 7 active codes, I replaced all my coil packs, new spark plugs, new driver side valve cover, replace both VVT solenoids exhaust and intake, also cam shaft position sensor.

Noticed I was low on coolant last week so I filled it and tonight I have a P0430 code and I’m low coolant.

What should I look at fixing Degas bottle cap ? New tank or start with hoses or O2 sensor ?

You could start with the simplest fix first, new gas cap. Otherwise, google the codes. There are quite a few potential causes. Start going through the list one by one.

so is P0430 the only code that came back? A quick google brings up Cat Bank 2 efficiency. If you’re losing coolant, that would be first to fix. Assuming no other codes. Make sure you consider that water expands with heat so at op temp the water will be higher than cold.

That should do the trick.
