Default P0018 code

My truck is throwing the P0018 code. But it confuses me why. Says the cam and crank shafts correlation on bank 2.

But my truck starts right up an runs smoothly until it shifts gears and wants to shutters or bucks at each gear then rides smooth again. I'm not getting any miss codes. Just the P0018

I know sometimes the code just give you a general direction. Anyone know what it might be if not the cam phaser?

I just had the trans rebuilt, because the hub broke. was told ford came out with a hardened steel hub because this was a common problem.

Not sure what common problem your talking about "Hub" a more common problem would be the VCT solenoids which may be your P0018 DTC

So I bought a whole timing kit including oil pump. when I took the front cover off the left side chain guide was in pieces. As soon as I took off the bolt to the cam phaser it fell apart. replaced all got it back together and now I'm getting code P0345. I replaced both sensors and still have the code. Any idea? truck runs smooth, nice pick up. but can't get this code to go away.

check the wires going to the drivers side cam sensor if you already swapped the sensor out.
