im looking to replace my tow mirror skull caps i was leaning toward painted to match my truck is candy red,but then i was thinking maybe chrome caps would look nice. my truck is a 2011 fx4 but i have chrome tow hooks and also i have oem fx4 heads retrofitted with chrome shrouds so along with the badges i have a few chrome accents i just want a tasteful look nothing to tacky what does everybody think?

Here's my Ruby Red with the chrome caps. That should be close enough for comparison. However, if I had my druthers I wish the Platinum came with the painted caps.

PTM would give it more of a "Luxury" look.
