Default oil leak

Hi guys
Was checking the oil the other day in my truck&found a slight leak on the right side valve cover.I tightened down the strange looking bolt that has a stud protruding out.Its the first bolt on the right side nearest the front.I have a 4.6 liter.Im thinking it might be the filler neck leaking&then draining down to the screw Im thinking the valve cover gasket might be shot? The engine has 56K on it.Any ideas?Left valve cover is fine&nothing leaking there.Had to put a qt of oil in

Default Common Problem:

The 4.6L in my '94 Lincoln TC has similar small puddles of oil around the cam cover fasteners. The seals appear to be weaping. I just leave them alone since the leakage is very small.

Thanks for everyones reply
It doesnt seem to be the valve cover but it seems to be around just two of the bolts that hold down the cover, with the funny looking studs.Never saw something like that.At any rate, there is what looks like some kind of washer that makes the seal.maybe that could be the problem&should be replaced. The screws with the leak are located in the front part of the cover

Hope you don't have the same problem but I had an oil leak in the same area on one of my trucks. Turns out it was the head gasket. Wasn't losing coolant, no oil in coolant or coolant in oil, just leaked oil. Hate oil leaks so here's a pic of the next step. Good luck! You can see where the oil was leaking at the back of the head, job actually wasn't that bad.
