Default Oil changes, spark plug changes, tire rotations, engine coolant changes and PMP

Happy Friday folks,

I have a few questions re premium maintenance plan on a 2016 F150 FX4. I see FloodFordESP offers the most competitive price (if anyone is aware of better prices please let us know). Now, for 8yr/100k at 5k mi intervals the price is $1845 which comes to about $92.25 per oil changes. I can get synthetic oil change offers from groupon for $35 or less.

I understand the premium maintenance plan covers more than just oil changes - it also covers brake pads, tire rotations, transmision fluid changes etc.

But in the same breath, Ford (as per the F-150 owner manual) mentions transmission fluid and transfer case fluid don't need to be changed until 150k miles, engine oil coolant at 60k miles and spark plugs at 60k miles. So the maintenance plan does seem like an overkill. What am I missing or skipping aside "peace of mind?" (that varies from person to person and is subjective)

I've read other threads re PMPs and have a few questions:
1. What do folks pay for an oil change and how many quarts are we looking at for a 2.7L V6 EB?
2. Within a 100k miles, what normally needs to be changed - unless my spark plugs are out, I can't seem to think of asking things to be changed aside routine oil changes and tire rotations.

Why pay $92.95 for (to me what seems like) just oil changes and tire rotations in advance + changing the engine coolant at 100k, so Ford can earn interest on a hefty up front balance?

I don't mean to be curt or a smart-alec and most likely I am missing something and would appreciate if folks on the forum could provide guidance and clarity. Thanks in advance.

You are missing nothing. This is for suckers.

Note you have to buy the extended warranty also per the notes on that link.

Reel in fish, feed it food...

Coolant and spark plugs are at 100,000 miles, not 60,000.

Basically, oil changes and tire rotations till then.

That is about 13 oil changes, and Discount Tire rotates my tires for free.

This. You can do an oil change yourself for (if I remember correctly) for less than $40. My 5.0 takes a bit more oil than your motor if I'm not mistaken.

5.0 takes 8 quarts and the oil filter is not so easy to access vs. the 2.7.
