oil change?

Lightbulb oil change?

i have a 04 F-150 5.4 liter. i have an oil change coming up and i want to do in myself. how much oil will i need?

The Manual that came with the truck that is probably in the glovebox should have some specs on ur truck that will tell you how many quarts.

Sometimes the Manuals are made for several diff size engines and trucks like the 4.6 and 5.4 so you must look on the chart and find how much the 5.4 takes.

my 5.4 takes 7 qts.

7 quarts is correct. Do yourself a favor and buy a case of 12. You'll save a little money in the long run.

Or get a 5+ quart change jug and then a 12 pack. More money up front, but if your truck is anything like mine, it will want a tad more than what is specified to get the oil level into the cross hatched area. And yes, I check the level after running the engine for a few minutes.
