I've been lookin at some of the pics in the gallery and what some people have posted and i dont see where many people are into four wheelin or takin their trucks offroad. Is there anyone that does? If so, what mods have you done to your truck? Just thought this would be kinda interesting.

mine can wheel pretty good stock, but nothing too extreme.

 

yeah, mines not too different from stock. I've lifted it a little and got some Swampers on it. It does good in the mud and ive been rock crawlin a little but not too many places in NC. Lately, i've been tryin to crank up the engine a little. I've got a programmer and im lookin at a cold air intake next, maybe k&n or AEM but not sure yet. Anyone else interested in takin their truck through some mud, rocks, etc?

Ive gone threw some pretty impresive stuff for just having a leveling spacer and some A/T's. The pics i have in my gallery dont show much at all, cheap camera, but those were not meant to be mudding so to say they were just from a weekend at my friends farm, i will never just go out and plan to get stuck its not like i fave a 6" lift and some real aggresive M/T's. Another reason is that from when i have gotten the truck covered, yes the whole truck was brown and it was not dirt it was MUD, ive found out that the ten minutes of fun wasnt worth the hours of cleaning and still not having it the way it was.

No real performance mods.
But lots of cosmetic and other mods.

 

I'm with Love the Tide. I think for me I've spent too much money to go out in the mud..just to get to get dirty. I have done some mods for HP mostly.
10.5x31's Wild Country RVT's- 10 x 15 american eagle polished aluminum rims. Xcelerator performance exhaust 3"SS.
95-351W bare bones with -Holley 61/4 vacuum secondary. Typhoon intake manifold. Snappy!..still a long ways to go..but having fun getting there

 

I dont see any point in gettin all these mods without seein what they can actually do. Yeah it looks good goin down the road but it does matter if you've got 500 hp or 200 hp if you dont show it off a little. Im just an outdoor kind of person anyway. Mud isnt too bad. Im gonna wash my truck anyway. Just my opinion though.

EVERY mod i have has some purpose.

As, far as showing it off i like doing that but i thats not why i have these mods.
