How much are you talking?

Its almost worthless to get a car because you not only have to buy the car, you have to get it registered, pay the insurance, maintance on a older car, and keep gass in it, on top of all of the costs of the truck....

ok this is how its working out

The truck was my dads i was buying it from him making monthly payments
i almost have it payed off but im going to stop paying for it untill i get the car payed off. And then cont. then payments on the truck.

im buying this car from a friend (hes a mechanic) and has a car just put a brand new engine and trans in it and is still in great shape

hes going to let me pay him as much as i can a month (the car is only $3700)

Now my dad is going to pay the insurance on the truck and im going to let him use it whenever he needs it.

im going to pay the insurance on the car

so its going to be about the same what i pay now but now i have a car that wont suck down the gas when im going places other then work.

please tell me that makes sence?

I guess in that situation, it works out quite well for you. I just thought that you were going to have to double up on everything.

Glad to hear you're staying in the F150 family. Just read a story in my local paper that gas will be over $4 a gallon out here by this summer so I may be leaving the truck home more often and taking the wife's car, but I will never get rid of it.
