i have a 2001 xlt 4.6l 2wd reg. cab long bed as opposed to what my signature says. there is an intermittent squeak in the rear that is only occasional and what sounds like a thumping noise sometimes while turning coming from the right front wheel well. any insight would be great thanks in advance.

 

i have 05 supercab 4x4 5.4l xlt and the the rear leaf springs make a thumping noise some times when turning at slow speeds. i put some greese in between springs and tightend u bolts 1/4 turn seems to have fixed the problem.as 4 the front i would start by checking ball joints and wheel bearings and sway bar bushings. hope this helps good luck!
