Default No start, cranks

It cranks and cranks, no start. So I replaced 1. Coil. 2.ignition cntrl mod. 3.regulator on wheel well..then I pulled tube from charcoal filter canister on wheel well and ran great till it got warm. Now it's crank, crank, dead battery, recharge, crank, crank, crank. I'm at a loss except someone said coolant temp sensor so I'm going to replace that. Any ideas anyone, really appreciate it. Oh yeah, 85 150, 302 auto.

Check your vacuum canister for rust through sounds like a vacuum leak. Check and make sure PCV valve and hoses are in place. Try starting by squirting a little starting fluid into carb and see what effect that has on the problem and report back to us. Oil fill cap in place and dipstick fully inserted?

A vacuum leak shouldn't cause a no start situation, it may run like ****, but it should still start.

Some of the vacuum lines on that generation of Ford trucks tended to literally fall apart especially if they are rubbing on anything. Look hard at the cruise control vacuum lines. Replacing those lines was the solution for me back in the day with the same type of problem.
