No 4WD when moving switch

No 4WD when moving switch
I have a 2006 King Ranch and theres a few things that has been concerning me.
1. After driving around town and then stopping, I notice a noise coming out of the dash that sounds like a computer running. Noise is constant, but changes tone intermediately? Turned AC, radio, everything off. Noise is still there.
2. The oil pressure gauge stays at the bottom of the gauge (L)....but oil pressure light doesnt come on?
3. I finally had a reason to put it in 4WD, and it never goes in? No 4H or 4L, and no dash light. I read the OM, and done exactly what it says to do. Never would it go to 4L, and truck would never engage. Its the electric switch, not the handle?
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
