I don't know what you can really do that would be cost effective in increasing your gas mileage?? Probably nothing. But if you want more torque you should look into getting a programmer. I did with the 02 (I had) and the 05 I have and they help the truck drive a whole lot better. Some E-Fans will also help. Welcome to the site.

yep^

someone did the math to find out how long it would take you to get the price of a intake back in gas savings and it was almost three years. (If I remember correctly)

so people who say "I got my intake to save on gas" are just bs'in you, lol

A throttle body spacer will get you more torque. maybe like 5 ft lbs..lol. A programmer is a must. A cold air intake with the catback is "supposed" to allow better fuel mileage. Smaller tires will get u better mileage and feel like the truck has more torqu...

Adding intake runner length will add torque and that 3\4 of an inch might be good for 5 ft lbs, yes and alot of nosie. Yes its a waste of money and time, but he asked. lol. I am actually thinking of ordering a set of aftermarket Mustang cams for mine. I wanna see if it will help.
