Default Newbie Shopper Question

I'm shopping for a used F-150. Found a 2014 at a dealership that's reasonable price & miles. Doing a little googling I found there have been quite a few complaints about the Info-tainment system and the A/C. The Info-tainment system was completely redesigned for the next model year with a different operating system from what I read. I realize because there were a noticeable level of complaints doesn't mean they all will experience problems but my question is - do you think I should perhaps avoid the 2014 model year or am I being overly concerned? Appreciate in advance your advice.

I have a 13 Limited and have had zero issues with either. What trim level are you looking at?

XLT Crew Cab with tow package 3.5 engine. From what I read the in dash system may have been new to that year and changed for the next.

Compared to today's technology, everybody's so called Info-tainment back then was junk. My dad has a 2014 XLT Super Cab with 5.0 and no problems at all with his truck but the info-tainment is hard to use. The screen was thought to be great at the time but my dad is amazed at the size of the screen on my 2019 and its features.

My ford touch came out in 2013. It carried over to 2015 in f150s. It was either 2016 or 2017 when sync 3 came along

my dads 2012 Lincoln mkz has sync with voice activated navigation. It's a nice system but it has to be reset about every time you turn around it seams
