Default New Truck

Hello my name is Meese aka Moose. I currently just traded in my ST for an F150 STX. 2018 best decision I’ve made other than having my daughter haha! It’s a 2.7 Ecoboost 10speed. I want to put a lift on it. Preferably a 6”. Question I have is a 6”lift a good idea on a 2.7 Ecoboost and if so what is the best rout of suspension and tire and wheel size for it. This is to get up the mountains and to my family’s ranch so it’s not a pavement pounder so I want some beef tires. Thanks!

the 2.7 will handle the big wheels and tires just fine. your fuel economy will decrease though. as far as rear end goes, you want the 3.73's if you are getting bigger tires. i'd say go for 35's if you are going for a 6 inch lift

You have to change both sets of gears on a 4x4 if you are going to use the 4x4, and if you're not going to use 4x4 why in the hell would you spend extra money to buy one.
