Default New tires + level...

I'm obviously a rookie around here, but I've honestly been reading for a good while. So this is my first post and I'm just looking for a little guidance. I have a 2013 red FX4 and I'm now in need of new tires and I've always planned on installing a level kit when I do this. I'm hoping some of you experienced guys can make some good suggestions. I plan on going with an all terrain tire because I want a more aggressive tread but I don't need a mud tire and don't want that kind of road noise. I've pretty much settled on the BFG K02 tire as I love the look, but I'm not sure on what size to go with. I will also be keeping the stock wheels. I see most folks, it seems, going with either 1.5" or 2" level, and I'm not sure which to go with or where to order from. My main concern is which level kit will look the best. I just want it to sit as level as possible. Any ideas??? TIA...

IMO, 2" level looks the best and gets you closer to dead level

Default New '78 headliner

Lost the original hardboard hmmmm. Had to use my trim pieces to spec a new one, while i was at it i decided to add carpet to it and help the new cab sound deadner. Trying to make this '78 as quiet as my '03 was, hope it helps but i do like the looks of it rather than just the hardboard original. Note the new grab handles for the Mrs & I, wrapped them in paracoard to dress a little. Oooops! The yellow tape marked the original screw holes, i need to remove it.

2" will get you pretty much dead level, but you'll have the nose in the air when carrying loads. I'd probably go with the 1.5" level, I think a 1/2" of forward rake is less noticeable than a 1/2" of reverse rake.

Ok this is what I'm currently looking at getting:
Amazon Amazon
...It says that the actual spacers are 1.5" but results in a 2" lift on the front. Looks like pretty good quality product. I also see a Motofab 1.5 inch version for 50 bucks. Also I see some users putting leveling kits on the front and rear, like 2.5" front and 1" rear. Wouldn't this be considered a true "lift" kit and not just a level, and what would be the purpose of this, just to get more room for the fitment of even bigger tires while maintaining a level ride height? I would assume...

I found this truck on a different f150 forum, but I looks close to what I'm aiming for. The owner claims to have installed a 2.5 lift on the front and 1" on the rear and is wearing BFG 285/65/R20s. I'm wondering if this same tire would fit on mine without touching the rear and just go with the 2" lift on the front???

I went bilstien shocks. Much better ride the 5100 let you choose what height you want the truck raised.

Are they coilover? What model is your pickup?
