Default new tires -help-

Hey guys, i'm looking to get a new set of tires for my F150 XLT Crew Cab 4X4
i've narrowed it down to two sets of tires from a local shop that has a decent sale on at the moment.
my main question is, what set to get, my driving is city commuter, medium towing, mostly my 2 horse trailer (max 6800lbs), highway driving is pretty minimal, coupe times a year i go to the hunting cabin in northern BC, so that tri is around 1,000 kms.

the tires i'm looking at are:
Michelin LTX M/S2 LT275/65R18
and
BFG All Terrain t/a ko2 LT275/70R18

From reviews i've read on here a lot of you guys use the BFG tires, and i certainly like the look of them on the F150. i'm just wondering if that is really something i need, since this is mostly my day-to-day driver fuel econ is pretty high on my priorities.

hopefully you guys can give me a point in the right direction, of course, if you have suggestions for sizes or if these aren't the best possible tires i'm all ears.

Cheers.

BFG's ...you will get 50-60K miles out of them and love them on the trails and snow..

that's where i have been leaning, i did read that the mich tires were guaranteed for 110 K with is amazing -- however, their tread looks more like a spring/summer tire, rather than an all round tire.

the LTX M/S is a great tire .. i put a set on my wifes 4runner.. sidewalls started to crack on me after a year or so.. read up on it and found it was a common problem..

My dad just got the ltx ms2 after having the ltx ms which he got 100,000 miles out if he loves them used it to pull is airstream and says he would by them again in a heartbeat. If your thinking about an all terrain possibility the Michelin all terrains I got last year and love them mileage is about the same as the bfg at2 but not as good as the ms2

thank you all for the support, i went with the BFG tires ... and let me tell you, i've had them now for a week and i cannot be more happy.
the ride is super smooth, ridged at first but that settled, zero sound, the tread does kick up the occasional rock so that may prove to be something to consider in the future.
here are some pics, they even make my factory chrome wheels look nice!

Wow, looking great! Had both BFG TA KO and Michelin LTX AT2 on last two purchases. BFG is better looking, yet Michelin rides slightly better. Can't go wrong with both.

so far i'm impressed, i took them up some logging roads in my country, cannot wait to see how far they'll take me when hunting season kicks up.
i have no doubt that these tires will perform exactly the way they're designed.
i did notice that the fuel economy may be my downside, had the trailer on the highway and i noticed the gauge going faster than it normally does.

I sure am disappointed that Michelin doesn't make a replacement tire for the 22's that are on my 2014 Limited. I had one other truck that had these Pirelli tires on it and I hate them.
