Hi everyone,

ive been a little overwhelmed looking for a good starting truck. Preferably I’m looking for a 2004 or newer. I’ve found a few but the ones in my price range either have over 200k miles or rust issues. I’m not afraid of getting some light body work done if the price is right. This will be my first truck. Any advice is appreciated. Should I avoid the super high mileage ones? Nothing wrong with high miles if it was my car bc I’d take care of it but you never know how others treat their trucks.

 

I would rather have a lower mileage 97-03 truck than a higher mileage 04-08. I think the older generation was just a better built truck. My opinion of course.
