Default New EcoBoost owner 21.5mpg stoked

Picked up my 2011 XLT Screw 4x4 and couldn't be happier. Bought the truck and traveled 100 miles to the house running 72 and had an average of 21.5mpg when I parked at the house.

The wife called me a pawpaw because I never got on it hard. So we rode up the rode and I couldn't believe it broke the back tires loose from a rolling 20mph start. Those turbos sounded sweet, she said not to do that again, hahaha

I'll post a pic as soon as I can figure out how to. Will be the before pic. I'll post an after pic in a couple weeks. Not to drastic but have to do a little to it.

Question??? If I put a billet grill on the lower bumper will it void the warranty (like a license plate will).

Congrats on the new truck. Looking forward to pics. Sorry can't help on the billet grill, although I have seen pics of EB'd with the grills. I would call a Ford Rep. about the warranty question.

How will a license plate void the warranty? I think someone is pulling your leg.

ANT... It said that if you placed a tag over turbo opening (center)....then the warrant on motor would be void. It does have an offset for a tag....just not centered.

That opening is where the air flows to the intercooler. That's why it needs to remain un obstructed. Sales person told me that yesterday when I bought mine. I went with the 5.0... LOVE IT!
