Default new additions...

i finally get to go to TENNESSEE next saturday to get my exhuast put on... nothing real fancy just doing a cat back into duals. chrome angled beveled tips and right now i got three mufflers i am going to listen to. a turbo muffler, flowmaster and accelerator. I have never heard of accelerator before but am told that it sounds throaty outside the truck but the way the casing is made that you dont hear it resonate inside the truck... and then i also have new stereo coming should be in tuesday. Didnt have the funds to do a high end lcd screen but i got a good deal on a jvc kw xg700 double din. 3 sets of preamps and a big enough face for me to see.

my eclipse is a good quality unit but i just dont care for a single din in a dash like this. if i was going to go with cb id keep single din but decided against the cb for now so go with double din.

i hear ya but see the thing is that i have a friend that runs a muffler shop... so i go visit, have some work done and well the bill is very little... the gas to get to the shop and plus visiting is cheaper than what id pay here at home... plus his welding is very nice... not sloppy, just nice and even..plus if i do ever have any issues with it i dont have to fight about it with a customer service idiot...lol

Speaking of an in-dash screen I'm selling mine for $400. I posted it in the for sale section. It works perfect but I've got my eye on a new Pioneer model.

triton if i had the money i would have talked to you about it... but i got this jvc which retails for 250 and i got it for 65.... which was in my price range... but I interviewed for a new job on friday as a service advisor and if i get hat job then by christmas i will be upgrading again...

as far as stereos and amps go can anyone explain signal to noise ratio. I am geting different stories from what i read on the net. my eclipse is 95, the jvc i am getting is 98. but my amp is 103 and i have seeen better amps that are only 89 but yet my amp is one of the noisest amps i have ever heard... (when you have no music playing there is a blanket of mild noise)

We just put that in my friends explorer, went easily and not too bad of a head unit. I love how it looks vs. a single din with a cubby above or below it.
