Have a 97 ford f150, engine series W, needs a new starter and see that they have ones with/without blades. Need help in how do I know if it has a blade or not without removing it and also where the starter is located. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

The starter is at the back of the motor, passenger side bottom. This is a picture of the starter on a motor with the head pulled. Lower left corner.
