Did you check to see if the bulbs are burnt out?

havnt figured out how to take the cover off the map lights without tearing it up. anyone got a trick to get that thing off?? the 3rd brake light is pretty straight forward, i just figured id check the fuse first before taking stuff apart. but i cant even figure out what fuses they run off.

you can check your bed light (the reverse white lites) by putting the truck into reverse (with the parking brake on) while it is turned off. If the lights turn on then they should work normally. As for the map lights look for words like convenience or interior and you should be on the right track.

Check bulbs if nothing else play with the assembly carefully and removal should become apparent. The bed lights are super easy to test as stated have someone stand behind the truck and see if your backup lights come on in the tail light housing then the cab mounted should be on. The fuse location use a test light and test every fuse and see i they are on or woking.. Check the ones that only have power to oneside to see if they are burned out. Becareful replace with the exact same fuse. If the fuse blows immeadiately then check the circuit most commin problem a coin in the power outlet (cigar lighter)....

when you say bed lights ...do you mean the lights on top of the cab??...or the backup lights--in the tail lights...is this a dumb question?....
