Talking need help please!!

I have a 97 ford f150 that will not engage into any gear but reverse....when put into drive it goes 10 mph and revs like its in neutral...the transmisson fluid and filter were just changed a week ago and drove fine for a week and did this at a stop light....what could it be??

Chesmama, welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your troubles. My first thought was to change to fluid and filter, but that's done. The only thing I can suggest is to call the repair shop that did your fluid change, maybe they can help. Just changing the fluid shouldn't have caused the problem if they used correct fluid and filter. Give us a little more info. i.e. miles on the odometer, engine size, etc. There's a lot of smart people on this forum. Someone should be able to give you more help. Good luck.

Also, you may want to ask this question under the late model section in the 1997-2003 catagory. More people with your generation truck there.
