need help painting emblems???

Default need help painting emblems???
i have a 2003 f150. im wanting to take the emblems from the tailgate and front quarter panels and paint them black? any ideas on the best way to do it?

I left mine on the truck, just taped and used news paper about 3 feet out in each direction. Then I used VHT niteshades and some clearcoat.

yea i have used the nightshade on my taillights. you put a clearcoat over it also? whats it just gonna make it more shiny?

It will shine it up a little bit, but It helps to keep the niteshades from coming off. Makes it last longer.
