1 disconect negative battery cable. 2 raise and safely support vehicle. 3 detach the electrical connector for the ckp sensor. 4 remove the ckp sensor shield retaining nuts and remove sensor shield. 5 remove the ckp sensor retaining bolts and remove ckp sensor. 6 installation is the reverse of removal. this is what is written in my chilton manual. not sure where it is located but on the v8's it's around AC compressor mounting bolts. hope this helps
