Default Need HELP! Alarm Problem.

I was in my brand new 2010 F150 parked in the parking lot and a friend came along and rocked it by pushing on the tailgate while I was sitting in the front seat pushing the truck forward slightly while it was turned off in park.

The problem is that this set off the alarm light on the dash and I can't get it to go away. Nothing else is wrong, just the "broken lock" light keeps blinking every couple seconds and wont go away. I really hope someone knows how to fix this as I called a technician and he said I had to bring it in right away for them to fix it with a $100 price tag. This seems kinda crazy for something so simple. Please I hope someone out there can help me!

thats covered by warrant. leave the part out about your friend jumping on it. Say you were loading the bed up with supplies of some sort

Are you sure that just isnt the "anti theft" light that blinks. Part of the PATS system. Did the alarm actually go off?
