i bought my 2014 f150 and it doesn't have a trailer brake, or mirrors with lights. I want to install a trailer brake but didn't know if my truck comes wired and all I need to do is buy the oem brake or not. I also want to buy the tow mirrors because I'm not a fan of the small ones. the mirrors I'm looking at are powered, and have the running lights and turn signals. is my truck pre wired for them as well or no?
any help would be great, I cant find any info anywhere.

If your truck has just the standard tow pkg. with the 7 pin plug it is wired for the factory TBC also if it is XLT or up should be wired for power, heated, turn sig mirrors with puddle lights would need additional harness and switch for power extend tow mirrors. I installed manual extend tow mirrors on my 2011 XLT plug and play.
Note if it is wired for TBC it will still need to be activated by a dealer price varies from free to maybe 1 hour labor depending on the dealer and your relationship.
