I am by no means a mechanic! So I need a second opinion. I was told today to lower my front end I could loosen the torsion bars to drop the front a little. Is this true? And will this hurt the truck? Any info would be appreciated.

It looks like you have the new body 04 if so you don't have torsion bars you have coil overs in front. Correct me if I'm wrong , but you didn't give info on truck I'm going off your I D pic

You don't have torsion bars to loosen.

As posted above, you have a new body style '04, you'd have to get lowering springs.

Only stupid people treat people like they're stupid when they ask questions to educate themselves about something they don't know or are unsure of. Good luck with your rig.

Unless you ask questions, you don't learn.

We all had to start somewhere.
