Default Need Awnsers!!! Please Help!!!!

I want to get a Ford F-150 King Ranch. But lately, I heard the gas mileage is very bad on them. I don't drive on the freeway to much, just around the city and to get around. If any one has one, and has expirence what do you think of the mileage and the price. One more thing how much does it regullary cost to fill up the whole tank?

Thanks A lot guys!!!!!!!!!

Just around town i've seen about 12-14mpg and about $100 to fill up all the way from dead "E".

The F150 is a great truck. Best looks, reliability, and value in my option. The King Ranch is a great Package for the Truck. The gas millage is bad. If your looking for a vehicle to just bump around town in and gas millage is on of your big concerns than this may not be the best vehicle for you. Get one of the guys who has an f150 to stick a Prius in the back of it and bring it to you.

This year all CNN talks about it the gas prices and how everyone needs to change the way they live to reduce our dependancy on oil. Then I see a commercial for the local golf cart dealer saying that they now have a highway legal golf cart. Soon enough the market will finish the correction it's currently in, gas prices will level off around $3/gallon, CNN will have stories about the increased number of fatal car crashes due to small cars being run over by 18 wheelers (you'll never get rid of them), Manufactures will continue to work toward better millage from there trucks, and Americans will be right back to shopping for the biggest vehicles they can get there hands on. I just bought my truck 2 weeks ago and love it.

If you are worried about gas mileage then an F-150 is not for you, sorry but thats the truth.

was'nt this question just asked a couple of days ago? and it was answered then. if it was not you then a search would be a good thing.

the king ranch is a trim package it is not a different truck. it is the same as any other 150 drivetrain wise. 4x4's get less mileage than the 4x2's and real world numbers differ due to driving style and options such as rear gearing. to fill it has many variables also. the price of gas being one, the size of the tank being the second. and etc.

if you want one then get one. no one can decide for you.
