Default Need Advice on wiring Raptor Grill Lights

Cant find this answer so I hope you guys can help. I purchased the UAD brand raptor grill with the led lights. It came with the wiring harness but on the other end it doesn't have a plug. I was wanting a plug and play harness so I didn't have to splice into my wires (we all know bad thing happen with exposed wires).

Looks like you have a '15+? Doesn't really doesn't matter the year, but run those wires over to your right side corner marker, find the supply wire, skin the insulation, twist wire together, and solder the splice, use some liquid electrical tape to insulate. Run the other wire to ground somewhere, just a body bolt would be good.

Thanks john day but like I was saying I was wanting a plug and play plug if all possible not crazy about splicing wires. Don't get me wrong if I have to I will but would rather do the later.

I don't see any other way than to do a splice. I can't think of any way to do a plug and play. I can walk you through it if you need that, no problem.
You could use a T tap on the wire, but really, that isn't the best way even though a lot of guys do it.

Ok, but wondering. Do you think I can remove grill purchase a new plug from another manufacture with both ends and do a plug and play?

You'd still have to splice into a power source. I don't know of any "plugs" already installed to let you do that.
Did you get any instructions with that grille?

yea, it was just for the grill nothing about the lights. Let me ask you I have a 16 KR with LED's are you telling me to hook into the running lights? Just trying to make sure I do it correctly.

Yes, on the outside corner, not your turn signal/marker combination though, just the one on the corner. To be honest, I'm not sure exactly how the lights are arranged on that year KR, but if you just turn on the "parking lights", and look on the corner you'll see what I mean.

ok, one other question. Do you think its possible to hook into the fuse box so I don't have to splice? Just thinking. Thanks for your input also.

I can't answer that one, LOL. I'd have to look at it, and try to find a space that would only be hot with your lights on. I'm not sure if there is one like that.
It would be pretty handy if there was.
