Default Need Advice

I have a 2008 F150 that was recently towed to a dealership because of a starting problem. (fuel pump) It apparetly is because of a screw holding down an amp that I paid a shop to install done 2 weeks ago. They warranty their work for the life of the vehicle and it was the installers fault. The installer screwed the amp into a wireing harness which is causing the fuel problem. So far I am documenting everything and keeping track with who I talk to. I've contacted the shop and dealership but can't do anything else til monday. I'm expecting the stereo shop to cover all costs associated with this. Anyone have experience with something like this? I just want to get it done and fast because I'm a college student with not much extra cash. Would I expect them to cover all dealer costs plus the rental car?

Never had any issues with anything like that, but I agree that the stereo shop should be responsible for the costs. Dealership won't warranty it since the modification directly resulted in the issue. Hope you get everything settled in your favor.
