Default Navigation Volume

I have a 2014 FX4 with the navigation system. Today I loaded a destination and when the system was giving directions the volume was way down. However the radio volume was fine. Did a setting get screwed up?

Not sure how it got turned down, but you can adjust the volume of the Sync/Navigation independently of the radio - while the system is giving directions just hit the volume up, it won't effect the stereo volume, they adjust independently.

You can go into settings and turn it up. I've had this hsppen on my '11. I don't know how I turned it down but I did.

Hit the "Menu" hard button in the center display till you bring up "Feedback Settings". In there you can adjust the Voice Volume up or down. It is independent of the radio volume. As you hit the "Plus" or "Minus" button in the display, the system will sound a voice so you can here the volume level.

When it (she) is talking just turn the volume **** up to the desired setting. It will adjust volume on the sync/navigation but not the radio. Same with phone calls. Just keep in mind she has to be talking when you turn the ****

Thanks everyone... problem solved. Has anyone else noticed that the speaker sounds blown when the navigation system speaks? I'm running A6 at the moment...
