Default Navigation issues

So lately, my navigation has not been acting right. It has a hard time tracking the roads I am actually driving on and sends me in circles cause it doesn't know where it's at. Is there any way to calibrate the GPS? also is there map updates that need to be installed, or is that in the Sync Updates? there are highways that were redesigned years ago, and they still don't show correctly in the maps. I'm beginning to wonder if the antannae is bad, but I don't know where it is...

Try unhooking the positive cable on the battery for approx. 10 -15 minutes. Sometimes that will reset the Nav., and get you back on the road. Mines a bit aggravating at times also. The last updated card I bought was the A5. There may be a new one by now. Check EBAY for the latest/greatest at a much better price than the dealer.

There is an A6 card. I am getting oil changed Monday. The dealership has a tech that comes in 3 days a weeks that specializes in MyTouch and Navigation. He apparently fixes this issue often. We shall see.

Thanks for the link. Sounds like exactly what I am dealing with. Went to larger wheels and tires. Been acting up ever since. I will say that if A5 is only 7 months old, the maps it uses suck. Interchanges on roads that have been around in Orlando, Fl. for at least 2-3 years still don't show up...

I answered in thread listed by ExpresswayFord. There is a Special Service Message#44961 that came out this month that fixes the issue!
