Default n-fab or CARR steps

well, i really like the look of the n-fab steps in black. they would cost about $350-$400. today on the local craigslist i found a set of 2 brand new never used CARR hoop steps for $25. my question is, are the n-fab(or that style at least) worth the money? if i got the CARR i would still need to get one more. of course the n-fab would look better but would the CARR look good as well? just looking for any opinions

thats what i like about them it that they use stock mounting holes. i think what ill do is go with the CARR steps for only $25 and just use those until i can afford the extra money for the nfabs. i guess it is only $25. plus, i can sell them later on when i get the N-fab steps. who knows, i might just make my own.

Default Fwiw:

Most side steps are hung on the cab body rocker panel and put a lot of twist on the rail when a load is applied to the step. Fabricate a bracket to transfer that twisting motion to someplace on the underside of the cab well inboard of the rocker panel rail.

thats a pretty cool idea. i was going to just get the n-fab steps but instead i bought an edge evolution so the steps are going to have to wait.

Default Life Gets Teejus (tedious), Don't it?

Budgets and priorities....I'd go for the tuner toy also....although the wife might take exception to my choice were I limited to one or the other.
