Default mysterious problem

hey guys, maybe yall can help me with this problem i have. My A/C works fine but the only thing is that when i get on the road and push on the gas the A/C barely blows but when i let off the gas it blows hard n strong like it should. do you have any idea of why this is happening. 1 other quick question, what happens if you dont clean the MAF sensor? would that cause problems for the truck? Thanks in advance

Jason,

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

Don't know the proper term, but there are vacuum run "gate" valves controlling the air flow and direction for the AC and heater. I have a '94. I found one behind the glove box and another under the hood, passenger side, near the evaporator coil. The under-the-hood one's vacuum line had broken down over time. I was able to cut it shorter and reattach. I'd check those vacuum lines. The heat over time can get to them. Hope that helps.
