Hi all,
I recently had a deer run into the side of my 2007 and some how the Insurance company decided to total it. I then tryed to buy it back and that did not end up working out they kind of screwed me on it. I went down to my local ford dealer and found a 2012 f150. The first thing that happened is I told them about my current truck then a few of the salesman came out and looked at it and could not believe it was totald. I'm a little ticked off about my 2007 it only had 104,000 on it. Here is a photo of my 2007 the only damage on it is cosmetic.
Now to my new truck the 2012 has the 3.7l with a 6 speed auto, tow package, 3.73lsd, power everything, and it is a XL. My first impression was wow this little 3.7l has some power for a v6. I like the truck alot so far other then it is not a manual transmission. Here is a photo of my new truck.
It is very hard to believe, my Insurance company must be smoking something. The Price I got for parts and labor was astronomical. There also was some invisible line on the side of my box. My buddy and I looked at it for a hour or so and couldn't find it. The damage was all cosmetic. Heck that Chevy truck in the back ground has had a deer run into the drivers side and not a scratch on it.
